Well myself and a collegue Julian have decided to get involved in the “Meet The Buyers Seminar” next Thursday at Gisbrough Hall.
It has meant turning up at a pre meeting to discuss our stand and what to do on the day. Malcolm Gallagher was there as usual giving out tips to get the most from the event. (more…)

The networking scene has slowed down over this last week with very few members comming on board and a couple from the States we don’t need, spamming the site. It’s partly my fault, with tax returns, IBD meetings, seminars and oh yes, a business to run and a family to see. This has meant no emails have been sent out, to promote the site and get yours and my message out there. (more…)

I had a good day today, first a great seminar by Malcolm Gallagher on “Winning Business”, but also that I got the chance to stand up and tell the audience about NENO. When I got home about 4.30pm, there were another 3 members added.

Malcolm talked about e tendering; procurement and explaining that public sector organisation are actively looking for the smaller businesses, because in many cases they can get better value for money. To some small businesses, it can be a scary concept selling themselves to a huge organisation such as the NHS or other public service sectors, but when you understand that 37% of all our economy is public sector money, you realise not to tender takes away 1/3 of your business opportunities. Well the membership is growing slowly, but it is growing.
This is still a soft launch with the only promotion being 20 emails a day or so being sent out.

I have tried to inform businesses of this great idea with it being spam and I hope no one is offended by recieving yet another email. (more…)

Welcome to the first piece of information from Neno.
I am starting this, already knowing that blogs, start out as a good idea, but as priorities take over posts will dwindle
I am also looking at the panel and quite shocked that I cant find a spell check anywhere, straight away I know I will have to write future ones in word first, as spelling and grammer, is definatley a weak point.
But for the first blog, I am using the correct interface, just to say I know how too. (more…)
